Really great campsites with lots of room and shade. Dump station and fresh water available. Three nice easy trails.

Nice enough park, but really only 2 small loop trails, sunset and sunrise. Each trail is about 1 mile and each has one Scenic view about half way in. The sunset trail starts at the end of the play field and there is no sign for it until you walk to the end of that field. Easy to miss. There is a third small trail that goes to a pond. I didn't take it, but it's supposed to have a bit of an incline on the way back. The park has camp sites. Day access is $4 per person.

Loved it! Super quiet, great walk/hike, dog friendly, kid friendly, went for a hike but also explored the camp ground and found a few great camp sites for this summer!

Great spot, clean and quiet. Three trails, sunrise, sunset and broad brook. All very nice.

Camping with the state forest officers present is from memorial day to first of October as far as I know. There is a fee at these times. When off season with permission of the vermont foresters you can camp with bring out what you bring in policy. Also the gate is down so must walk your gear into your site. No fee during off season. The is a web site that gives more details . Search "fort Dummer state forest camping" in google and there you'll get the most recent information. As I see my info is different from the other person.
The only one I am sure of camping areas is at Fort Dummer. There is also a state camping grounds at the Townshend state forest , VT
They have a website where you can see the cost of the different services and fees. They offer day pass and camping site fees . Fees also I think can be paid online. I do know for sure you can register for a camp site and when you want to use it on the state's website which takes you to this parks site. It also shows a map of the different camping sites and types available for the dates your wanting to use them .for day use passes I do think they are at that website as well. Please share what you find out and where you found it for all future info seekers. Thank you. MER.
