Fantastic mountain bike trail on the east side that seems to have more down than up. Some beautiful views around the lake.

Hobbs state park has some great hiking and biking trails. Pigeon roost (hiking only), karst loop (hiking and biking) are my favourite trails. Both have access and lookout points on the lake. Great swimming hikes too, if you want to spend time in the water. Kayaking is a big time activity too. The rangers are an awesome bunch too, if you are looking for any information. They are also doing outdoor space rentals, if you want to have a fun get together (seating, cooking space and refrigerator available too).

Went to the Birds of Prey presentation this morning with my family and it was by far the best I've been to in a long time. Not boring at all and very informative. My two daughters enjoyed it as well and they are 9 and 13. The gift shop is one of the best as well. Lots of things we haven't seen at other state park gift shops!

Hobbs state park visitor center was really nice. It was very clean. A nice little gift shop. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. It had nice paved walking trails. There is some nice information on animals in the area. There was an easy 3/4 …

Sorry not an answer but a question: the sites are for campers?
Yes u can cruise the lake and see Eagles along with lots of other birds and wildlife
Lake Atalanta has some nice accessible fishing areas.
There are many miles of multi-use trails that also allow horses. The main one is the Hidden Diversity trail. There is parking for horse trailers at Townsend Ridge Road trailhead and Piney Road Trailhead (East side of road). Townsend has the most room.
There is no fee to enter the state park. The War Eagle Cavern is privately owned, and is not part of the park.
We have seen a few at the feeder at the Visitor Center, but these are probably the males which usually arrive before the females to stake out territories, and some are just pausing on their way further north. There are some flowers blooming to provide nectar, but they also eat small flying insects, and those are definitely out now. Here in a few weeks there should be many more. Look around feeders or flowers, especially red ones like fire pink or columbine.
No
The only cave nearby that is accessible to the public is War Eagle Cavern, which is privately owned and operated.
The trails are nice
Yes.
They do. It may only be open seasonally though.
There are a couple places for an outdoor wedding, but check with the office to arrange
Not sure? Didn't know that it was fenced off? You would have to ask someone at the park office that question.
Yes. Great trails for equine purposes. Some can get tight in places, but most are beautiful rides.
Hobbs runs up against Beaver Lake (Army Corp Fed Park), which has fishing open to anyone with an Arkansas fishing license.
Rocky branch camping is good
It depends on what trail you are looking for. It is about a 15min. drive from downtown Rogers to Van Winkle Trail.
Wow I sure am not the person to answer that oh, I would agree you could call the Park service's and talk to a ranger about mushrooms. Obviously you know more than us on types so you don't eat the wrong ones and hallucinate or die
There's even some water fountains with a dog-height bowl
I have not hear of one. There maybe. Call the park.
Check out the lodge at beaver lake or around Eureka Springs.
Hike the pigeon roost trail and you will come to a ckeaeinh at the mouth of the lake, water is clear
