I would call the nearest animal shelter and ask them.
I have adopted a bigger dog and i felt she wasnt thoroughly evaluated to be okay with cats. That being said if they are okay with cats. I dont see any reason why their size would prevent them from going to a house with a cat.
I suggest ypu call and ask directly. But from what i experienced the answer is YES. i donr know if H.S. tests dogs for compatibility with cats but they definitely gage the animals social skills to see aggression levels and if the animal appears as a possible threat to people. Might want to also ask your cats how they feel about having a dog as a roommate..... Also i have seen cats defend themselves quite well from a dog even bully the dog. Just be careful so neither party gets physically hurt. O and btw animals get jealous too ...cats can and will find "new owner" if they feel they are unwanted. Good luck!!
Please call the humane society and ask. Their adoption procedures include behavior evaluations. They should know if Snowy is cat friendly. Good luck!
I know I got a lot of cats and I had dogs at the same time too it just depends on you know how they get along with each other just like people but most cats and dogs don't really mind each other and less when was some grown up with it being with any kind of cat or any
Sure, but try 2 learn b4 hand if dog has ever been exposed 2 cats b4.
Your best bet is to go in there in the morning and talk to an adoption specialist.
