Step back in time. Ahwahnee hotel is an iconic structure That grows more precious with age . Yes, it is expensive and I don't know why the park service doesn't curb Or standardize the cost. Having said that I know that maintaining the The building, the grounds And keeping the food at a high quality Is costly. The fall is my favorite time at the Ahwahnee . Fires are lit and the beautiful fireplaces burn with a special glow. A hot toddy, a book, the fire, Maybe forget the book . You are the architect of a wonderful experience In a fabulous environment. WARNING: Don't go to the park in the summer. Park authorities don't know what to do with automobiles. Apparently there is no direction from National Park Service. There does not appear to be a plan to manage the population in the park. This has been done at the Grand Canyon which has prohibited automobiles from going to the park.(it can handle the people.) They Ahwahnee lodge in Yosemite is sn A + in my book.
Hi Lyle, room prices depend on season and availability. We always recommend booking directly through our website.
Depends on many factors but expect it to be expensive. We got a larger room not in the main building that fit 4 adults and a teenager last minute for $600-700 for one night. Like I said, expensive.
I don't know, we didn't stay , It depends on many things the size, the floor, people in the room,, Etc.
