What a place! After a 20 min wait we got a nice window seat for late lunch. It was nice but if they had more professional food it would definitely be a 5 star. We had the seafood pasta. The food was ok but for bought pasta, the price and all it was not really amazing. Overpriced to say the least. It said it would be a creamy sauce, well it wasn’t. The calamari’s were quite overcooked. Plus for the big portions and doggy bag though. Nice and polite staff. They serve their own water which was really nice!

Lunch break inside the park. Food was ok. Expensive, but to be expected inside a National Park. Nothing great. Burgers were very average. Pot pie was ok. It needed salt and some seasoning but it wasn't horrible. The views were phenomenal!

The dinner reservations are hard to get by but if you are staying in the hotel then their breakfast buffet is not too bad. Their pancakes were good. The buffet collection was diverse but wish the food was a bit more warm.

The Ahwahnee Hotel Dining Room is an extraordinary experience. It is a Yosemite tradition for me. First off, it is expensive. So be prepared to pay for the privilege of dining here. Stop by and try lunch if you are only here for a day. …

I just ate lunch there a few days ago as a walk in. No problem.
When will they be taking reservations for Christmas dinner 2021?
No dress code for lunch
All food is ordered at a walkup counter and then served in to go containers right now. Line can get kinda long so order dessert and extra drinks at the start
In response to guidance from the State Health Department and to support the nation’s effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, The Ahwahnee Dining Room is offering takeout service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy their meals in the Dining Room, but there is no tableside service.
Yes, I have seen wedding party receptions in some of the front, smaller rooms before the name change from Ahwanhee to Majestic. They also had cooking conferences in the large fireplace room, and Medieval Christmas Costume Parties in the main dining room.
These questions are community answered, give them a call. I did some googling there are 3rd party options assuming they're real.
