It's not too far. In the front of the parking lot, but you will go up a small ramp then down onto the beach. You could also be dropped off at the turn around to avoid the walk up.

I thought there was handicap parking in the actual beach parking lot. Keep in mind it's a pay lot.
I didn't see any parking near the beach. People are walking we guessed, about a mile or more. They also walk from the train. If you find parking I would call some Uber or Lyft. If there is any. Sorry I don't have much info.
