Adorable small beach. Great for families with children. Very easy to watch your children.

If you're looking for a setting that shows off all the Cape's attributes like strong salt air, 1-2 foot waves and a vast uninhibited view, then this is for you. Uncrowded quiet beach that has all this and is FAMILY FRIENDLY to boot. On certain days the parking is $20 for the day. Upon exiting your car, you see the Bathroom building and on the right side is an outdoor freshwater shower that's also easily accessible from the beach. After a short walk from the sand path covered with some plant-life and manicured dunes, you come to the beach. Beach is broken up into 3 tiers. The upper first one features clean fine dry sand with swings and play areas. Benches adorn the middle tier and acts as a walk area as well. The lower third tier is where a smaller dry sand, high water mark and wet sand are located. The wet sand and water are clean and don't have too many shells or seaweed like neighboring beaches. A rock jetty shoulders the border between public and private sections. Like all beaches on the coast, a sign warning of Dangerous Marine Life: Seals (saw 2), Jellyfish (saw none) and of course Sharks (saw none). An ice-cream truck shows up periodically, but other than that there's no food. A beverage vending machine is on the premises. Bring a cooler with snacks. Loved the fact the kids could shower off, change clothes and be ready for more adventure without the need to go back to our room. Although there is no designated changing stalls, you can do it in the bathroom as it was also clean.
