Only major negative for me was that they didn't have an elevator. Since there's only 2 stories, this wasn't a big deal except when arriving and departing since you had to get all your luggage up and down the stairs. You can tell they had updated items but still had some updates to do. The bathroom was small but still had a tub and looked very nice. I only wish there was more counter/space for toiletries. The beds were a bit high, if those could be lowered closer to the ground they would be easier to get into. I'm pretty tall but still had to crawl up onto the bed. I would also suggest to rearrange the room layout. The furniture was a bit bulky, I would of rather had the queen bed removed and it replaced with a sofa bed. I know a sofa bed wouldn't be as comfortable, but it would of been nice to have a better place to sit and we didn't need the 2nd bed anyways. I saw a review that complained about the pool view, but I loved it. There's only 3 rooms that have the pool view, and I'm actually delighted that we got one. It kept the morning sunlight from coming into the room which I always dislike of hotels. And the pool is gorgeous, plus I love pools so this suited me very much. I think it was prettier than a view of the road. I LOVED their indoor pool and spa tub. It's probably the best pool I've ever used. You rarely find a pool that goes deep enough that I'm not still on my tip toes. This one went from 3ft to 6ft to 9ft. And the 3ft had one of those floating ropes to divide it from the deeper end for any kiddos. And it's plenty long and wide enough to do some short laps and still have room for other people in the pool. I liked the wooden planks over the walls in the pool/spa area too. It looked really nice. The spa tub was great as well. We didn't try out the outdoor pool which they also had, so I can't comment on it. We also didn't try out the breakfast since we had other plans, so I can't comment on that either. The "game room" really should be removed from the amenities since it's just a pool table in a room that's too small for one. I'd suggest to replace it with some arcade games, board games, and/or small air hockey table. Someone expecting a real game room would be disappointed. I didn't even know it was there until we were already there, so it didn't bother me but it needs a makeover before listing it on the list of amenities. The floors could also use an update throughout. Overall, I would recommend this hotel--ESPECIALLY for pool-lovers like me. It made everything worth it to me. Thanks!

Beware of this hotel!!!!! I booked a reservation on 1/28/2021 for a July 2021 wedding. Due to Covid the wedding dates were changed to July of 2022. Due to a scheduling conflict i was unable to attend in July of 2022. I called and cancelled on 5/23/2022. Their policy is 15 days before arrival. I was told I would get a full refund in 7-10 days. 14 days go by and i call and they say, we changed our computer system and will now have to write you a check. Another week goes by with no check, I call back they continue to tell me that they cant do anything and that i will have to speak to the manager. they say the manager will call you back, I have never to this day spoken to the manager. I continue to call everyday or so, with the same song and dance that they need to speak to the manager. I finally receive a check on 7/11 that was written out on 7/1. (I live 1:30mins away from this place. One day max in the USPS) They had been telling me since the beginning of June, First the said the check must have gotten lost, then they said oh let me check with accounting to see if they sent it, then they said the manager is the only one that can sign a check. If i wasn't such a pain calling every other day, they were never going to refund me. Be careful- You may never get refunded if you need to cancel and you will never get to speak to management.

Negative stars if possible. Crumbs and snacks all over the floor and ON THE BED. The bed was made without changing out the sheets they were stained and dirty! Used towels in the bathtub. Dead and live bugs in the bathroom. We woke up with BUG BITES. The hot tub was “broken” when we arrived even though I called before showing up to make sure everything was functional to not waste my time or money. Fridge couldn’t keep anything cold. Freezer was completely iced over couldn’t even put anything in it. Staff are unpleasant. Looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the early 1900s. Did not shovel anything despite the snow storm and ice. No salt at entrance. I ruined my boots walking though massive puddles. The pool made by their lack of shoveling was probably nicer than their indoor pool. Then in the morning good luck getting to your car walking on 6 inches of straight ice. The only positive experience was the woman who checked us in originally. She was an absolute peach and probably deserves to be working somewhere nicer than this cosmic mess. Plenty of other hotels in the area for the same price. Take your money and go there

First off let me say we stayed here a couple years back and it wasn't "the best" but it was good enough for one night so we decided to stay here again. We came for just an over night getaway with the kids, let them swim in the pool and go home in the morning. The hot tub was not hot it was room temperature at best, ok no big deal. Wake up at 7am go get the breakfast that they advertise is free and starts at 6am..no one there and no food in site.Call the front desk they say someone will be right there, go back and they give us a paper bag with food and say that is breakfast (see picture attached). Vending machines do not give change for bills and front desk will not provide quarters. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, lights don't work in the room. The room smells like stale cigarettes they tried to cover up with cheap room spray. If you're looking for a place just to lay your head I guess it will do but don't come here with your whole family expecting the full experience they advertise. I think this place has seen better days.
