I just took my dog yesterday. She's the same size. She loved it, but just know that you will DEFINITELY get wet. You'll have to cross the creek about 20 times for this hike.
Yes! We saw lots of dogs when we went, as long as they are fairly nimble and not afraid of crossing a creek with moving water multiple times I'll bet they will have a ton of fun!
I took my small dogs, a 13lb and 7lb mix breeds. The river crosses were dry at the time so they were able to cross easily. Also, they had a small problem going up the side by the devil's bathtub, it was a little slippery.
Yes, when I went on the hike there were plenty of dogs, so unless you do not want your dog near other dogs you should go earlier in the day.
I haven't brought my dog there but I have seen others there. He should be ok with climbing and in water
