I think people have tried to swim in the bubbling mud springs but typically they don't survive.

Yes some of lakes you see people in fishing rafts and I'm pretty sure you can swim in them summit lake but water cold. Yes some of water areas are boiling highly nor recommended there use common sense

Check out Juniper Lake. From what I understand, you can swim in it and it's lovely.
