There is a learn to ski package that includes a lift ticket and group lessons. It was very reasonably priced IIRC. Be sure to take snow boots or other warm shoes for snow tubing. No ski boots allowed when snow tubing. Check the web site for specials on lift tickets or other packages.
So to put it simply, buy a snowboarding/skiing ticket for the number of hours you plan to be there, and then buy a discounted tubing ticket.
For tubing you must purchase a tubing ticket. This ticket will allow you to ride a carpet lift to the top of the hill to ride the tube down. A boarding ticket is for snowboarding and skiing. It will give you transportation to the top of the mountain on a chair lift. If you choose to snowboard or ski i recommended booking a lesson at the information desk located in the main building.
You need to be taken to the top of the mountain by a "lift" and the resorts charge you for the ticket you wear to ride it for a the period of time you laid for...day, half day, twighlight, night....you need a separate ticket or add on at Winterplace for tubing....boarding is the same ticket as skiing....skis or snowboarding
