Enjoyed my first time there with my family and friends. I would have given it 4 stars but the rope run near the bunny hill was not working and the chair lift near the middle (can’t remember which run it was) was dangerous. It had a buildup of snow and was moving way too fast so if guys skis were dangling down at it you would be pulled off the chair. The runs themselves are what you expect for lower Michigan. Nothing too great but still fun. They have a terrain park for the thrill seekers. It is close to home so I’ll be back soon.

We had a spectacular day on the slopes. Haven’t been here in years. Snow was in great shape. Very little ice. The lift attendants were very friendly and the staff at the ticket booth were as well. The cafeteria was busy and had less than a full menu but they were working hard and the food they had was hot and very good. The lodge had a nice fire to sit by to warm up between sessions.

Over all great experience here. Place was kinda empty which was great!!Also snowing so even better. Great hills for teaching and everything else! So mountain is great but the rest not so much almost 5 stars needs some work

Snowboard and boots rent as a set. Helmet is a separate rental.
It depends on the season. This year it opened late November and can be open as late as mid to late March depending on the winter and how much base (amount of snow) is left. I have skiied in April in the past but it is rare it is open past March
I saw people with pets in the parking lot this week. If you plan to take them farther I would call, but honestly why would you? It can get busy and that could get dangerous for skiers or your pet to have a leash out there as people fly off the hill. Stay safe.

We never have an exact start date because its always weather dependant. We do plan on opening this year as soon as snowmaking weather gets here. We have opened as early as the second week of November. Looking forward to giving people somthing fun to do outdoors with their friends and family this winter!

Yes we have great man made snow making ability. Most of our base comes from man made snow. If the temps are below freezing we can make it. Doesn't have much to do with natural snow but it does help!

Heading west on M-59 is the Highland House restaurant (highly recommended). Heading east, there are also a lot of restaurants (we like Dave & Amy's) - and also a Zap Zone fun center, movie theater, bowling alley, and hotels about 10 minutes away.

Natural Snow has nothing to do with us being open. We make a ton of man made snow if the temperatures are below freezing. We have been open Since November 11th
Their website tells how many runs and lifts are open, in addition to snow conditions and live cam view.
Yes, they have a concession style area with burgers, pizza, sandwiches, soups, etc., and there is also a bar. There are many tables for seating as well.
