There are not many hotels on staten island. This one is by far the poorest quality of them all. So it always fills up last. Even at the hilton garden and hampton you can usually book same day unless it is a special event weekend(i.e. graduation weekend at one of the colleges). I would recommend the Ramada, only as a last resort if the others are full.

I didn't have to wait for a room booked same day.

It be rooms available book the room the day before not to much of the day of the price for the room is a good price so they go fast...
