Hubby and I traveled from California to New York for the first time and we are glad we stayed at this hotel! The hotel offers great comfort after sightseeing,non-stop subways and walking around NY. This is conveniently located and 3 mins walk to subways (esp subway R and N) that leads you to Manhattan. Around the area, they also have coffee shops and food court that you can dine in. Inside the hotel, they have a bar that operates nightly, an awesome rooftop view, a cozy lobby area to relax at night and have a quick breakfast in the morning. Rooms are small but space was well planned. Staff are also very accommodating and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anybody traveling to NY.

Hotel has the best shampoo. The rooms are clean and have a great view. The staff is genuine and make me feel like they are my family away from home. I travel for a living and that’s a great feeling to have! Grateful for everyone working here! JP, Adam, and front desk staff! They all rock!

Aloft is a sweet form follows function hotel. It is clean. Rooms are as big as they need to be for a sleep and go. The staff is very very kind, and this location is great! 2 blocks from the E/M/R. About 4 (short blocks) from the 7, and you pass a market on the way there so it's a perfect spot! Didn't get to hang in the lounge (Covid-times). I like that there are full bottles of body/hair wash in the showers. That just needs a bit of attention when the rooms are turned because I had 0 body wash, but luckily they do have soap in the room so it wasn't a big deal.

We travelled from the UK to see family that we hadn’t seen for two years and stayed at Aloft for three nights over the Christmas period 2021 and found the hotel and staff to be great. Anything you asked of the staff, they were more than happy to assist. Room was clean and well equipped and the bed was fantastic. Well priced and would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh by the way, the views of Manhattan are a real bonus.

Call the front desk
After 6pm you can park on the street for free as long as you are gone by 9am. Some of the streets behind the hotel have an 8am departure requirement. Otherwise the parking garages and neoghborhood are safe and within a couple blocks. Usually $15-25 per day depending on size of vehicle.
