Was just there a couple of weeks ago. They were hosting a Rough Riders ball. So I think not.
The article that some have heard about is true, but the individuals involved in putting up the sign were fired and a formal apology given to all military services. I was upset about this as well when I heard about it, but felt much better when I saw the resolution.
I saw a professional sign on counter that said “Will Not Serve Military” Keep your stinking hotel!
This establishment is very military friendly. I've stayed on more than one occasion and had nothing but good service and highly recommend this location.
They were what I would call pro military just last weekend...the staff was very pleasant to all members that I saw... we even befriended a few service members that said they were very happy with the service.
