Possible bed bugs. The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating but the hotel is nasty. We were put in a suite room 122 and found a bug in the bed, they switched us to 422 and when we woke up another bug was found in the bed. We have never had issues with bugs and have always stayed at la quinta. We were asked if we brought the bugs in our bags but we don't have an issue with bugs and checked all our baggage we do not have bugs. The bugs were only in the beds. The hotel halls, walls, floors are nasty. The rooms were cleaned but you couldn't tell. The floors are nasty, the bathrooms were sticky, the corners of the carpets and edges had dirt piles all over. I was greatful for the staff but would not recommend this hotel. We found a room elsewhere for the next day and will not stay there again.

First off staff was RUDE from check and through out our stay. woken up at 3 am from false fire alarm. No apologies, no discount, nothing offered for this inconvenience. Plus the stairwells were unsafe for evacuation due to painting work being done and stairs covered up. Bed sheets and covers dirty and stained, pillows horrible. Carpet stained, shower curtain stained or moldy. No shampoo, just conditioner, coffee machine not working. Unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Great location and many other hotels in area, we definitely will stay somewhere else next time we are in town. Big disappointment.

The room was very spacious and comfortable for the price. We got a King Suite and it was nice to have a door between us and our children at night. Our freezer was disgusting. Something moldy had been growing in it for weeks. But other than that the room was clean. The bed was pretty comfortable, although the fitted sheet didn't stay on the bed as I rolled around during the night. The breakfast wasn't yummy and delicious but it sufficed. There were 3 types of cereal, hard boiled eggs, bread, a few pastries, bagels, store bought muffins, granola bars, yogurt and waffles. The breakfast area was kept well stocked and was quite spacious. The hot water was great and the shower had enough water pressure. Although the drain for the bath didn't make a tight seal. The TVs had access to YouTube which was nice. All the rooms are accessible by fast elevators and the staff was very nice. Overall it was a good experience but I took off stars for the disgusting freezer.

Bed bugs... As my boyfriend was checking in I saw a review showing bedbugs. I went in to stop him but it was too late. I told the front desk person about it and asked if it had been taken care of. Was told he didnt know what I was talking about they don't have bed bugs. It was almost 2 am so we decided to stay. We inspected the room and while it was a little run down and it appeared clean enough. The mattress edges appeared clean.. so we stayed, however in the morning my boyfriend smashed a bed bug that was on him and we found another small one on the bedside table. The person who checked us out did give us a discount for the issue. I know these things happen and it appears the infestation is not to the point of being easily seen. I really hope that they get it treated before it gets too bad. The only other issue was that there was a pretty good gap around our door so as people passed it was very loud, but once they were in their room we didn't hear anything. The bed was comfortable even though I only used the top sheet and cocooned myself in it for fear there may be bugs which turned out true.
