Who came up in this program that the union gospel mission.and is it a great program to be in.what do they offer the males there

Of the 3 shelters in town ( Union Gospel Mission, Salvation Army, and Presbyterian Night Shelter), Union Gospel Mission is the best one to stay at. I did stay there while getting a job and put money back for an apartment. They will help you with items for the apartment when you are ready to move out. The Mission does offer many programs for men women and families. Call them and ask what they have to offer.
