It's a decent park if you want to walk or take the kids to swing or play basketball. They have signs in different areas for sightings of animals, seen a bunny on the trail twice and they do mind their business as long as you mind yours

My kids and I had a great time. Beautiful trail, excellent wide sidewalk for jogging, hiking, or biking. Well maintained and safe for everyone to enjoy nature or exercise. Great parking with lights. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all.

Very, very nice place to go to enjoy you and your family that was my second time being.at the park and lived there on Greenshaven Dr for twenty one years I would see wild hogs, bobcats, snake's and different birds and few more different kinds of animals and really enjoy my self I will go again but not along the snakes I am afraid or them and worms but didn't see any yesterday love the outdoors.

Nice out of the way park on the east end of the Trinity trail system. Water fountains but no restroom. Lots of parking. A little sketchy. West toward Ft Worth. Nice trail. Restroom at an unnamed park about a mile west. About half along road. 1/2 shaded

Within Quanah Parker Park, not much. But it connects to a trail that goes all the way to Gateway Park, and from there you can reach the trail along the Trinity River that goes all the way to and beyond downtown Fort Worth, provided the causeway over the river south of Gateway Park isn't flooded. Going the other direction it goes for several miles, over another causeway and a little further.
There is some access to the Trinity River, but no proper place for fishing. The Trinity is often so low that the fish are of poor quality and not worth catching. Gateway Park has area that can be fished from, but it's not stocked with anything decent.
The gate is open, but it's officially only open between sunrise and sunset.
