Yes. It can take faster if you have income. It is always a process however. Use the time that you are in the program to discover yourself.
If you can get in, I guess they'll help, but I've never had any luck getting in.

I think it takes awhile you have to go through their program.I was in a program at the Salvation Army and I got my housing in a year.
