I read the reviews before moving here but like many others I really needed a place to live. I am writing this review having been here for 1 month 5 days out of my 12 month lease. During the rental process, I found communication with management to be extremely frustrating. Phone calls, voicemails and emails will go unanswered for long periods of time most go without being returned at all. I have been told this is due to understaffing which although common at this time doesn't excuse the abysmal conditions that hundreds of people living here are subject to. When you are able to speak with someone it is very obvious they know very little about the property they are employed to oversee. Upon move in it was obvious that this property is the definition of landlord special. No care taken to painting or cleaning. In fact, not only is there a dried foam cleaner caked inside the oven, the dishwasher (which is not in working order) appears to have had standing water present for long enough to smell, and upon spot testing a portable carpet cleaner purchased in case of a pet accident revealed that the carpet most likely was not cleaned between tenants. I used the machine for less than 10 minutes in a low traffic area behind furniture to find that the resulting water was black with dirt, dust and flea dander within a week of move in. Unfortunately, I expect to have continued issues over the course of the next 11 months but wanted to stress to any perspective tenants that if you can, do not rent here. Even in a pinch, I would recommend looking anywhere else no matter if it makes for a longer commute or higher rent. It is not worth settling for this place especially when taking into account the lead paint and asbestos waivers you have to sign during the leasing process.

I currently live here and I will NOT be renewing my lease. I ignored the bad reviews of this complex, against my better judgement, and I regret it and now I'm stuck in a year lease. Do not let all their amenities fool you, they either aren't open or the hours of operation are very inconvenient for anyone who works 9-5. Plus, to get to any of them (unless you live right next to them) is an absolute pain. The staff and their procedures are absolutely ridiculous. The only nice person I've talked to in the office is Margo. But, the staff will go out of their way to make anything difficult. I mean anything, especially paying rent. The online portal is g a r b a g e and trying to do it in person makes you want to pull your hair out. I also had an easier time getting Comcast to come and fix something vs the apartment complex. Something to note, this place is nothing but stairs and I don't mean regular staircases. If you live on the 1st or 3rd floor you'd have to take all your stuff up a SPIRAL staircase. I would absolutely not recommend it.

Do not rent from them. Mold, asbestos, and lead paint they wont tell you about until the very last minute. Walls are super thin so you can hear everything down to the neighbors microwave beep. My car window was smashed in the parking lot the first day I moved in and a year and a half later they towed my car from the lot even with the parking permit in the window while I was recovering from surgery. I couldn't afford to get it out so I lost my car due to a smashed window even tho it had been in that condition the entire time. My fridge stopped working and it took them over a month to send someone to replace it. My dishwasher hasnt worked for at least 3 months and haven't heard anything about fixing that. Water comes out brown, sometimes green, and once a whole rock came out of my faucet. They had me use an empty unit to shower in when my shower tiles fell off and exposed black mold which they just covered up with plastic, and even the water in the unit on the other side if the complex was brown.

Do not move here unless you're desperate. They have been doing shoddy, loud construction outside apartment for over a year. As I write this they are literally banging directly on the roof overhead as I'm trying to work, scaring my pets. Some of the construction had to be redone because it was done so poorly and not up to code the first time. They tried to tell me I HAD to leave my apartment from 8am-5pm on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS during the pandemic despite the fact I work at home. On two of those occasions, they were lying about the need to leave the apartment. They do not properly inform constituents of safety issues or upcoming construction. The office staff are rude and lie or obfuscate to try to get you to go away and not bother them. Their communications are often wrong and not up-to-date. They will not help you or provide info. They are so untrustworthy and incompetent, it's like they have no office staff at all. UPDATE: They have added their stock response here, but trust me when I say they are not offering any help or ‘clarification’ and I have tried multiple times to communicate issues with no response (despite them telling me I HAD to leave my apartment for construction in less than 24hrs).

No I had not heard about that. I guess that explains why they are redoing all the exterior staircases.
Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't move there. They steal your security deposit. And the grounds are not kept up lights go out for weeks or months the water fountains hasn't worked in 7 months everything is very slow there. Besides that the apartments are badly insulated. With firewood my electric bill for the winter was almost $400
What kind of break INS from the door or the balcony?
