Update: We have had our car broken into 3 times in the last 6 months. We can clearly see where they break into the garage, but nothing has been done by the property to increase security or mitigate break-ins, and no footage from the “cameras” has been sent to PPD. We have lived in the Hawthorne Apartments for a few months and we initially liked the space and location. However, we have had several burglaries and vandalism events since being here and management has been unhelpful at best. After weeks of spotty contact their final solution for me was to offer to take away my parking so I could afford to replace my stolen items. Cameras in building do not capture incidents and the on-site Security phone number does not work.

Strategically chose where out apartment was located inside the building as a result it is very quiet. It is an ideal location, management is responsive. For all of the features in the building, essentially brand new appliances; dishwasher, full sized stove, washer/dryer, microwave, and fridge the price point is fair. I was ready to pay the same price for a unit half the size, or more for outdated appliances with a little extra room in a subpar location. All of my neighbors are quiet and happy, and when they are loud it is because they are laughing. I can't complain.
