Definitely go! Bring a picnic! There are picnic benches. The entry for adults to the mansion is $ 16.95. It goes down incrementally for seniors, students, and youth. You can hike up to the pittock mansion there is a lower parking lot you can park at. Or you can drive all the way up and park in the upper parking lot.. It's a beautiful walk through the trees and it's challenging so if you are down for beauty and challenge then put on those hiking shoes or comfortable grip sneakers . There are picnic benches that overlook the beautiful view of Portland Oregon. Go on a clear day and you can see all 5 mountains! Bring some nice binoculars. The Pittock mansion has an amazing display about black history that's very personal and has interpersonal histories of local black history. You will be moved and you will be schooled. It's a very moving installation. It is in the basement. I have mixed feelings about that but the installation itself is then itself is very moving and needs to be seen. Definitely don't forget to go to the basement and look at it.

I went here to watch the sunset and it was such an incredible view, something you can't pass up! Everything about this place is beautiful. The mansion is unfortunately still locked and not open for entry and the gates at night close at 9pm.

Amazing Views. You pay for Parking. Unless you park on the side road before arriving to Mansion. Entrance to walk trail and garden is Free but there's a fee of about $10-$15 per adult for Self Tour. Super nice, well organized. Picture/Video allowed. No touching! Beautiful architecture/story.

Fantastic views over the city and excellent photo ops in the beautiful surrounds. A small expense on parking only, about 2 dollars an hour. Could be a great trek or hike down from here to Washington park but we drove to a from. A great first stop when visiting Portland to get your overall bearings. Possibly worth touring the mansion too but we didn't have time. Give yourself 30mins to an hour to explore the outside surrounds.

Doubtful but you can certainly ask. If the caregiver is an employee of the disabled, it's reasonable to request their admission be paid as well
They have an elevator, but you have to request assistance. So access, unfortunately, is limited
Yes, they are open again (closed every January but reopen every February 1st) and are open 7 days per week. They will be open.
I didn't get a creepy vibe. If it is haunted, they're quiet nerdy ghosts.
No, but you can use the house, staircase, and grounds for photos.
Walking the outdoor surrounding grounds is beautiful & free. It's on the cooler side cause it's on a hill. Picture perfect of the city in the background & Mt Hood in the distance. *To take a tour inside, (self guided) its $12. Worth the price if you appreciate history.
Yes you are allowed, many people take Wedding Pictures here 😊
Members: Free Adults: $11. Seniors: $10 (65+). Youth: $8 (6-18). Children: Free (Under 6)
No. The roads are narrow and this is at the top of the mountain with houses all around. No main street.
Yes, parking is free but they close the gate at 9:00 pm.
I spent two hours there.
You can bring the stroller for sure.
Not technically. But you can enter on foot but not with the car.
Check with your library, they might have free passes available for family.
The grounds are closed after hours by a gate
No animals inside any premises but outside is okay. Lots of great trails and the grounds have stunning views.
There's a pay lot, but parking isn't enforced until 9:30 am.
The outdoor grounds are technically open until 9pm, but that doesn't stop people from going later for the view. Be sure to bring a flashlight.
Yes. But not after hours. I believe the gates close at 10.
Outside Yes. It will cost you to get into the home. The gift shop building is free. The exterior landscape and view is free.
Yes, people were taking prom pictures there today. It's free to visit the grounds and take photos.
I don't think so.
That you would have to check out, I didn't have enough to get in the day I was there, so we walked the whole grounds, and hiked up it's back hill side, and we will be going back again to see what ways you can get in
The trail around to house with access to the public is less than a quarter of a mile.
