The District on 5th

Cons: - It’s common for the trash room to be over flowing. - Parking Garage is pretty tight - You can’t sleep on Friday or Saturday night because of 4th Ave (Mr Heads Bar… really) playing beyond loud music until 2AM ( it has waken me and my roommates up every weekend since we’ve moved in ) Pros: - Price is decent compared to other places around - Floor plan is super nice - Maintenance is relatively responsive to work orders The main reason me and my 3 roommates aren’t resigning is because of the noise on 4th Ave every weekend. Yes… it’s that unbearable.

when you go for a tour ask to see the other buildings. the hallways are sketchy and so are the elevators. also you will never be able to sleep. the music from the club right next to the building plays super loud till late late at night. it’s ridiculous and gets super annoying. definitely would suggest living somewhere else and paying a little more because this place is just not it

Thus far we've had a pretty good time here at the district. The staff is super nice, the maintenance team gets requests done quickly, there's pretty good amenities, the location is great (mostly because of the Sunlink and proximity to campus, nightlife, etc.), and the parking garage is nicely secure. There are some areas though that we see need improvement (1) the hallways, garage, surrounding sidewalks, even a bit in the pool area could be a little more well kept (2) also for what we pay to live here, the carpets in the bedrooms could be MUCH cleaner/better quality and the washer and drier should be upgraded (3) the floors need to be waxed because they make everyones feet turn black. Some people complain about noise but luckily we are on the 5th floor and so we don't have many problems with that. This is all we have for now, we did decide to renew our lease for another year because of the good experience we've had thus far!

this apartment is amazing! the only thing that I didn't like is they don't give out enough shorter-termed leases. overall, it was a great location, less busy then the other college apartments, and its cheaper. I have lived here for 3 years and its my home
