This is one of the worst places I have ever lived. If you don't need water, or love having free neighbors (yes cockroaches, I'm talking to you), and swimming in a pool that puts the word bayou to shame then this will be your desert paradise! Every single time you renew your lease the rate will be hiked up more and more to "stay in line with market rates blah blah etc.." I bet those competitors at least have reliable water service that isn't brown. This complex used to be nicer but a couple of years ago things went seriously downhill. The pools are maintained to a bare minimum, often going a long time without being cleaned. The gates are also broken, posing a safety risk. The water shut offs are incessant and residents will only receive a notice about 2/3 of the time. When the water does work, it is frequently brown. My family has spent hundreds of dollars on bottled water due to the tap being both unreliable and not fit for consumption. My unit is kept spotless yet cockroaches are seen at least once a day. There was also an issue with one of the laundry rooms, where a washing machine unit was left broken with standing water in it for so long that mosquitos were breeding in it and infesting the laundry room. The standard of living at Fountain Plaza is unacceptable and certainly not worth the amount of money they try to suck from your pockets. The only saving grace of this community is the woman who works in the office as she is always very helpful and friendly. That, however, is not reason enough to suffer through living here. (I am a resident but am not providing my name due to privacy & possible retaliation concerns)

Updating my review to reflect recent months and lower my score. Maintenance still almost never shows, even when the office says they were supposed to. There seems to be 0 communication between staff on what's going on, what apartments need help, what is and isn't being done, etc. Trying to work with them on anything is frustrating as a result and if the same person helping you before isnt there, it'll take weeks if it happens at all. One staff member (I think her name is Emily) is the absolute sweetest person and its from her trying to help at all that this review is staying at three stars and not falling further. But we are coming up on a year missing a major appliance we've been begging them to fix/replace since it first went down, and already the day it's supposedly being brought to us has been changed multiple times, mostly because of maintenance not showing up. Other then that. the pools are actually really nice, the neighbors are really nice, and I'm honestly in love with our back patio area. My only gripes with this place have been how impossible it feels to get help from the office. I really hope I can have a more positive update to this review, but as it stands this is where I'm at. (I do live here, name on the post is a fake name for online purposes.)

Back in the beginning of October of this year I applied for this apartment , paying the $200 down deposit for the application fee and holding fee within two hours of paying this amount they explain that the apartment was actually not available so they did not run the application whatsoever, I filed a dispute with my bank because they were refusing to give me my money back even though they gave me no service and did not even run an application, and now a month and a half later they’re continuing fight and they got the money taken out of my account once again. This place is obviously okay with stealing despite giving no services. They are selfish and rude.

They accept certain sizes of pets (dogs can't be too large, cats are apparently fine). You pay a non-refundable deposit and rent per pet and even then they'll probably use your pets as an excuse not to return your refundable security deposit. It's very expensive to have pets living here.
There is a washer and dryer in each home. We also offer on-site dry cleaning and laundry service.
I have been here almost two years and I have seen no safety issues. The population is mixed but mostly white. The management throws events and everyone gets along at them.
The complex does have 2 vedroom apartments but I am not part of the management so I have no idea if any are available
