My biggest thing about hotels when I travel is, is the room & bathroom clean? This room was spotless! The breakfast was outstanding (hot food and plenty of it). Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel. The only downside is the bed was a little hard and the pillows were a little flat. I'm sure I could have asked for another pillow but honestly, I was being a lazy butt.

Vacation trip and stayed here... absolutely awesome experience all around! Rooms were clean, well stocked, even downstairs snacks and forgotten items, although there is a dollar general right behind it and next lot. Also if you check in later and/or need food late, you'll be waiting, snacking from lobby store, or driving to next town. Hotel personnel are very helpful and attentive and willing to help anyway they can! Great breakfast in the morning, well stocked coffee and fresh made food options. They DO HAVE KEURIG coffee machines in the rooms, so if your a picky flavor person, you can bring your own k-cups!!!! Highly recommend a stay here!!

I had called them a few days before and asked about their cribs. They said they had pack and plays. Cool. That's what we use all the time. Upon arrival, they said their cribs were only for infants who were unable to stand up. Our baby was 17 months and so we had to cosleep with the baby, which makes a decent night's sleep impossible. Them being unclear and then giving me different answers really ruined our stay. The hotel itself is in a decent location, but not perfect as it was still a 15 minute walk to get to the center of Helen, having to go through very narrow sidewalks along a busy road. Breakfast was decent with rotating items. Their pool was excellent though as it was large for a small city like Helen and our baby loved it.

Let me say we travel frequently and stay in many hotel chains. We aren’t hard to please. BUT upon arrival, with no sign up to advise customers , they were cleaning the floors with MURIATIC ACID !! My family member was almost overcome by the fumes , he has asthma. (By the time we got done covering our eyes/mouth from the fumes and hiking up 3 flights , he needed the breathing machine . )We were told to use the steps to get to the 3rd floor ! This was after we were already checked in . No “member rewards” perks here . (Ie: bottled water after traveling , etc) The breakfast menu is a disaster. Pancake machine was broken , staff wasn’t prepared , eggs were rubbery . Ashes AND blood on linens The one positive : bed WAS comfy . I ask myself “Why am I even a rewards member and why did we even stay? Go up the street to the Hilton . We will next time . Oh, I complained and received a $20 reduction to the bill. This room should’ve been comped completely after that fiasco !!
