The staff was the friendliest we've ever met. They were pleasant and attentive. The rooms smelled clean, and the bedding was clean, but the rest of the room was dingy and didn't look clean. The floor was covered in crumbs in the room and throughout the entire hotel. And while the staff was wonderful, they lacked a bit in professionalism. There wasn't really a way to tell who was staff based on appearance. One employee was wearing her swimsuit and a cover-up one day, and what looked like a nightgown and socks the next. And the kids were super disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed. We probably would have chosen another hotel had we known in advance. It made it feel like we got far less value than what we paid. But to end on a high note, the breakfast was good and had a wide range of options. And the employee working was super friendly and helpful.

Joy at the front desk was just as her name is, very pleasant and welcoming. When I asked about eatery nearby we took her suggestion and was not disappointed. Check in was a breeze the carpet on the floor looked clean suite we had looked and smell clean. I have OCD so I always sanitize hotel rooms. Door handles, remote, table light /lamp switches all clean. Only a bit of dust behind the television. I was a bit disappointed the hot tub/ pool was not in service. We walked to the restaurant as a family, something we have not done in forever, we will definitely visit again. Great location!

The rooms were pretty decent and clean. The only problem we had was our shower did not have hot water (we like taking hot showers, that's all). The staff was nice enough to let us move to another room with no charge. And the new room DEFINITELY had a shower that has hot steamy water. Overall, this was pretty good and cozy.

I had a wonderful stay, the staff was friendly and very professional. I was very pleased with the room, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, good breakfast, and the jacuzzi in the room was a big bonus. The hotel is located in the heart of Helen, walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. There is a park just a few feet from the hotel on the banks of the Chattahoochee river, nice place to sit and relax. I will highly recommend.
