The community looks better on paper. The leasing staff and property management company don't really care about their residents. Lack of communications when some of the amenities are down. The place has great potential to be amazing but there is no pride in maintaining the place. There is always some kind of incident happening and the place is getting progressively worse. Don't fall for their fake hospitality and them talking up the amenities and events. Not worth the money you pay and yet rates are still skyrocketing. Once you sign a lease that's where the hospitality ends. One star because concierge is amazing and the maintenance staff are really friendly and genuinely care.

VCW is by far the best apartment complex in Charlotte. I've lived here for 2+ years. Absolute best amenities, units and the property itself is gorgeous, ESPECIALLY if you have a dog! AND the best concierge staff around - Stanley is the absolute MAN (definiton of service with a smile) and Aaron, Angelo and Evan are always so kind and helpful. The only major downfall is the rent continues to increase.

We LOVE it here! All the green spaces, resident events, and helpful staff make life here so enjoyable. Aaron and Evan have been the biggest impact so far. Having such chipper friends at the concierge counter makes day-to-day operations so smooth. Kaito (my pup) and I stop by at least once a day for a little treat and to say hello! Their both always eager to help and even try to account for resident needs proactively! Thanks, guys!!

I have been at The Village for almost 2 years now - with no intentions of leaving! The Village offers everything that you could ever need. The amenities are incredible! From awesome summer pool days to the sauna after a work out to hot chocolate from the barista bar on a cold winter day - it has it all. The office and maintenance staff are great and really put an effort into keeping the community well kept and the resident events fun.
