I had a vehicle recall and the dealership contract is with Hertz. I drove it for 2 days. The brakes went out on the vehicle and we almost rear ended someone. I got it to a parking lot safely. After an hour phone call with roadside assistance. My family picked me up to exchange the vehicle at the RDU location. A manager said the vehicle had to be at the location for me to leave with an exchange vehicle. This is contrary to what Hertz roadside assistance explained. We waited 30 min before i could talk to another manager. He took contract and case number. We waited an hour before he came out of his office and said car is in the lot and left. No apology, no explanation for waiting. No.. I am glad you didn’t wreck, nothing. We got the exchange car and the outside had mud all over the bottom panels. There was nicks and scratches. I flagged another manager to explain the vehicle condition. I was brushed aside. At that point i was done and left with the exchange. The customer service here was awful. I will never do business again with Hertz and will let everybody know my horrible experience here.

Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Rented a car at pickup I denied the extra services. The man says I have to sign I don’t want the services but no it’s a total scam that you’re actually signing up for the services. I get to the hotel see that they charges me TWICE and then the $179 extra fees that I denied. I call customer services they say no worries we are emailing you a form bring it with you And they will refund your money. Ok…. We go to return the car and the “nice southern gentleman” tells us too bad so sad if we would like to miss our flight and wait for a manager then we sure can but he won’t refund our money either. So it’s best to be on our way…….. really great customer service you got there. Also the car had moldy Mac and cheese under all the seats and ac barely worked. My son goes to Duke and we will be flying in and renting cars often to visit. But never again through Hertz never again. Scamming people is illegal. And hertz doesn’t care.

I’m giving two stars because the first time I had an issue, it was somewhat smoothed over. I’ve flown in for one day, twice this year and had the unfortunate need to rent from this location. I have been president circle/five star tiered for over 10 years now. I work for myself, so the money I spend is MINE….. anywho. The first time I went I was unable to book through the app, but went to the counter and low and behold they have cars, they are just almost $200 for one day. The manager was kind enough to take some of that off. Two weeks later, I went back and even though I had a reservation it was still exorbitant in comparison to other airports. I returned the car the next morning with full gas and no incidents. TWO WEEKS LATER I GET A $40 CHARGE FOR GAS… I can’t even fill out a survey two weeks later. I’ve called this location no less than ten times, no one picks up. It’s really terrible.

As you enter the lot Make the left go to the sign under the canopy you will you see a sign on the right that reads E RETURN drive down that lane leave the keys in the car proceed to the main building where you can ride the bus, to the airport and have a great day
I am not sure of their hours so call and ask but I dropped off at 4 a.m. I believe even tho their website said they were clos
If you have your info setup online they will email you the invoice or receipt. If not when you drop off ask the attendant.

Hi Judy, my last rental was a Nissan however, On Star Navigation can be found on most GM or Chevrolet vehicles. I believe the best way to determine is to ask them in advance if they have either Chevrolet or GM vehicles in their inventory for rental. Most newer vehicles allow phones to be connected therefore Google maps or Ways app would work hands free. Good luck!
Put your flight information in when you book your flight.... they will stay open for you flight...
If your moving just tell them how long you want it and where your going and they will tell you where the nearest location is and you can drop it off there
