Dropped my rental off at 0715 am no attendant to check me in. Called before boarding my flight at 900 am now home in Georgia at 2pm and the vehicle is still not checked in. In fact I just received my receipt from picking the car up two days ago. This particular location has lost me as a customer. The vehicle was not clean inside or out at pickup, did not have washer fluid, windshield had a residue on it that made it difficult to see out of and of course I was not standing in line to complain or switch out decided to handle the issue later. If they don’t close this contract I will be reaching out to the ftc and the bbb. They need to refine the practice of an sufficient return process that leaves no room for the customer be overcharged or held liable for a loss vehicle. This has been becoming the norm through out the industry. Hertz especially are having people arrested for auto theft after they have returned cars that were lost in there system.

Car was first by, fries in the floor and old newspaper from the previous month. Also a headlight out and nowhere in my destination that could swap the car… as I didn’t notice the light when I picked up because it was day time and I was in a hurry after waiting in the hour long line at avis.

Never rent from Avis. Both of the front tires were bald with steel exposed. Very dangerous

Our experience with Avis was less than desirable. When we got there, the car option (full-size) that we prepaid was not available. The rep tried to get us to take a small SUV or minivan for an up charge of $10 per day. I would have taken that option had I not had to pay for it due to no fault of my own. We waited approximately 30 minutes and a Hyundai Sonata became available. The car was clean; however once we drove away we realized the car only had 3/4 of a tank of gas. We are expected to return the car full but unfortunately the same courtesy was not bestowed upon us when leaving the lot. Our destination was to Camp Lejeune Marine base approximately 2.5 hours from where we picked up the car. We met our children on base to get visitors passes and were advised we may not be able to get a pass to drive the car on base because the registration for the car was expired. We rented the car in September and the registration expired in March. We were eventually allowed on base however it was a nightmare we should not have had to go through to start our vacation. This was our first time renting for Avis and it might be the only time.

Because the only one employee is busy working with the 30 people line waiting hours to get their car
I believe I got there before 5 AM last time I dropped off, and there was a shuttle running.
We have courtesy bus drivers to pick you up till 1 or 2 a.m. or until the last flight lands. Sometimes they are there till after 3 a.m.
They never answer. They are understaffed and very busy. Dispute the charge with your credit card company.
I can tell you from experience that it was about 25 minutes between shuttles within the last week.
Facts they need to better there system
Not that I'm aware of 🙂
The car return is open 24x7, you will have to have an email when you rented because they will send you the receipt by email
I don't know but what I can tell you about my experience is..... They charged me 81.09 a month after I returned my car in. I'm still waiting on them to figure out why I was charged. They only opened a case for me but its hard for me to get in touch with someone.
No they close at 1am
Yes there is a shuttle, if you download the app it tells you the times of pick up..I was there 3 days ago
Hella busy all the time at the airport. If you can't get local they will route you to the 1800 services.
