All the staff here were very friendly and assisted me in finding items for my new apartment. It would have taken me a really long time to aquire all the items for my 1 bedroom apartment, since I didn't have furniture for a living room, bedroom & kitchen. After being homeless, living in my car & a shelter for the last 2 years. It is finally starting to look like a home. Thank you All at Community Warehouse.

Ah Mann, I wish I had been able to dole out a couple hundred Dollars on helpers to move the lovely cupboard with shelves home that I have my heart set on. I did score with a love seat in perfect nick, dark grey, and a large something that has one middle shelf. A handy casserole dish and a brand new slow cooker I'd been wanting for the longest time were my main prizes for kitchen ware, plus a sugar bowl that matches my tablecloth and runner, plus various odds and ends, including a spaghetti scoop. Staff are friendly and helpful. One does need a counselor/case worker to get entrance, plus an $150 upfront fee, so, take advantage of the Warehouse, like a furniture buffet. There is parking that one turns into from the street.

Lots of beautiful things here. Walk away with two purchases. People here are very kind. Will return for sure.

Hi Cindy, thanks for your question! Clients are referred by a case manager, social worker, counselor or advocate from one of our 200+ partner agencies. The referring partner schedules the appointment and helps coordinate moving the furniture to the client's home.
Hi, Leo Thank you for your question! Our furniture bank program does provide beds to low income folks in need of beds and household furnishing. Visits to the Community Warehouse are by appointment made by a third party case worker from one of our 200+ partner agencies. If you have a case worker, let them know you want to schedule an appointment to come visit the Community Warehouse. Here's a link to the page on our website with all the details on getting furniture and appointments. https://www.communitywarehouse.org/get-furniture/

Hi Mollie, Thank you for thinking of us! The families we serve aren't usually able to take washers and dryers, so we don't accept them. We refer those to our great partners at Habitat For Humanity Restore or Community Appliances.

Hello Chirsty Sly, Thank you for thinking of us with your potential donation! We accept full carpets that are free of stains, tears, and pet hairs. However, if the FLOR carpet tiles come as separate pieces, we generally will not accept that type of carpeting.
Hello Patricia Hogan, Thank you for reaching out with your question! At the current time, our staff will have to assess the pieces to ensure that they will be a good fit for either the households in need of furnishings or the Estate Stores. If you would like to see if they are appropriate for our Estate Stores, fill out the form with a few pictures at the link below. https://www.communitywarehouse.org/donate-to-the-estate-stores/
Hello Pamela! Our pickup services are paused at the moment. If you are looking for alternative resources to transport your rug, check out the "Haulers/Movers" options listed on our site at https://www.communitywarehouse.org/alternative-resources/. Additionally, your rug may be a suitable donation for our Estate Stores. Look into making such a donation by visiting https://www.communitywarehouse.org/donate-to-the-estate-stores/. Thank you for your inquiry!
Community Warehouse's hours are 10 am - 4 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday) for donation drop off. The Estate Store hours are 11 am - 4 pm Thursday through Saturday.
Hello Victoria Moss, If you are looking to donate your LG recliner, Community Warehouse does not offer trades when collecting donations as our mission is to connect furnishings to neighbors in need. Thank you for your inquiry. We are glad to hear from you!
Hello Michael, Thank you for your question. Yes, all furniture bank appointments are made by referral through one of our partner agencies. Here's a link to our website with all the details on how to get an appointment and the services we provide. https://www.communitywarehouse.org/get-furniture/ We hope you can get an appointment soon!
Sorry but we don't have freezers or refrigerators
You're asking other Google users here. I would call your agency or call Community Warehouse directly.
You must be sponsored or have a case worker refer you to get furniture from Community Warehouse. It's best to call them directly for more info.
Hi Kathy! Most people are referred to us by a case manager or agency that is helping them get assistance. Those organizations make appointments for people to come in to get furniture. You can learn more about that here: https://www.communitywarehouse.org/get-furniture/
They DO NOT deliver for free!! They may charge but I know they don't do it for free. I had to get a moving truck, and it must be picked up when you leave. I had a referral in January and that's how it worked for me. Good Luck
They have an annual auction in the spring called Chair Affair. The valuable furniture is sold in their two estate stores that benefits those in need who use their furniture bank

I did when I worked for Human Solutions. Families are welcome to get anything they need based off family size, apartment size etc. If you receive any kind of public assistance- I believe you can contact DHS & they can get you a referral. If not then I would suggest getting connected with a non-profit organization so that they can get you access.
I've seen them there, but don't know their process if getting them. You can call the warehouse to ask!
