Hi Mollie, Thank you for thinking of us! The families we serve aren't usually able to take washers and dryers, so we don't accept them. We refer those to our great partners at Habitat For Humanity Restore or Community Appliances.
Big items like that are not hugely likely to be immediately needed. Call and ask if they have a family who needs them. Large appliances are always accepted by community appliances.
