They truly are a wonderful organization. They care so much about helping people. They give so much. And have many different avenues for community outreach. Very friendly and professional staff. Was so grateful and thankful they were there when i couldnt work. They helped me with my pge bill and delivered food boxes to my home. I'm truly grateful to them for evrrything.

Helped me when I needed my rent paid. All the stuff is pretty friendly except for the chunky guy who always wears the black hat he's pretty rude. That's why I give it 4 stars because they've helped me but not five because of that guy

This is such a wonderful place. The staff are so friendly and it looks like the Census is reaching out to help with jobs. The process to get help requires an appointment. Some are same day, others the next. The staff works diligently to help you with your problem. This was recommended through 211. What a wonderful charity that tries to help everyone.

I went it for assistance for my water bill and was treated awful. The manager of emergency services.(Craig ?) humiliated me in the lobby, discussed my personal information in the lobby including my first and last name , my street name. The other people in the lobby were so embarrassed for me. I am a professional person seeking help I can only imagine how they treat homeless people or others that have disabilities. The manager needs more training or needs to find a new job. This place is awful! Use only as a last resort it's a waste of time . They act like it's their money and their food . Sad . I complained to the Executuve Director for the entire organization but I'm sure he didn't believe me it's 100% true I left there feeling awful about myself. P.s. The guy at front counter is awesome but if that's his boss it must make his job miserable. By the way I'm a hotel manager and have 40 employees I would never send one of my staff members there. We're just going through a hard time in my family and thought I might get support. Never again!!!

Yes they can but make sure you go towards the beginning of the month.
In an emergency, they can help, but i don't know how many times.
They have rental assistance
Not sure if the SVDP would take a washer n dryer for a donation but you should call 503-235-7837 or 503-235-8431to learn more.

72 hour pay or vacate notice, your id, ss card and a utility bill showing proof of address
Walk in. The one by johnson creek fred meyer is awesome. They r so nice. Just walk in and tell them that u have a shut off notice and they will at the very least help u call ur utilities to get them to leave them on. Then they will give u an appt for tom or the next day. Idk how much funds thwy have left at this point in the month but everything is worth a try. Good luck.
