Inexperienced housing staff, not what it used to be, absolutely no communication as to what the process is, you find out as you go(or the day of) . Oh well, Ask alot if questions on your own.. .

The case worker I got, Daniel, has been very nice and helpful. He has been way above the average of the stories I've heard from others. On a different note, the buildings they own or manage are run down with slot of people camping around their sidewalks. I've seen much drug and alcohol abuse in and out of their buildings with little intervention or help, as if leaving them alone to kill themselves or realize their need for help is totally at their will without the need from others to spawn a conversation. I am giving a higher than fair rating based on Daniel's great attitude and willingness to help.

I can't give less than 1 star. Maybe if these places helped people making minimum wage there wouldn't be so many homeless for them to exploit.

As far as I'm concerned they do more to help the disadvantaged more than Salvation Army, Goodwill, or these other so called "charities"...so I have no idea why anybody would consider them fake...donate to CCC... they're doing a lot of good...
There are a number of factors that can make u qualified for housing if u are on parol or post prison your probation officer can help you get into houseing with ccc
