This is my first choice when needing to deal with any food stamp related issue. Never had to wait long the staff knows what's what and they give you a card there rather than mailing it.

I took a number and waited for like half an hour as I watched them help other people and finally noticed me when I was the last one. I confronted them why they haven’t called my number so he asked me what was my number I told him 40 and he served it off in front of my face saying there you go number 40. That was very unprofessional and insulting. I still don’t know why they don’t call out the numbers anymore while I wait like a @&&)”! Just because I apply for help and you think I’m probably poor does not mean they can treat me like trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When people apply for help it’s because they probably need it!!!!!!!!! They don’t go in expected to be treated like trash because of whatever their background is.

The ladies working the desk upfront are usually very sweet and enlightening. They keep that place pretty clean and in tip top shape.

I would have given 5 🌟 but the security staff at the entrance are as rude and uninviting as I have ever seen. The staff inside were extremely informative, very helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help you ( or me in this matter ).

Call your local office. If your not sure which one that is call 211.
DHS does not process applications for insurance. You have to apply for insurance through OHP/Care Oregon websight. If you need help go to a local community health clinic like Multnomah County Health Clinic and ask the receptionist for help in filling out an application. Make sure you have your ID and proof of income or lack of incom. If you dont have income and receive food benefits that is proof of not having income and you will likely qualify for health insurance. But DHS does not process these applications nor has anything to do with OHP/Care Oregon.
Yes
IDK. Why don't you call and ask them!😂 Lol
Yes, they will have you pull a number, but the only let like 6 people in at a time so you might have to wait outside if they're busy
Yes. Went there yesterday it was open
It depends, you should check with the Department of seniors and people with disabilities though. Not dhs. They have resources especially for people in her situation.
DHS office will be open on Monday the 31st of December 8 to 5. But closed on the 1st of January 2019
