Staff friendly rated 1 star someone I was helping get food thank goodness they brought their own grocery bags because the donation box has a roach crawling in it while still in the cart. Leave the box if you get food never take the box always bring you own grocery bags or else bring a gift home that will cost you a bill for pest control be aware.

I take my grandma over there, the ladies are fabulous, accommodating and nice. Ms. Maxine is all that respectfully, she looks Indian and gorgeous. I watched her for about 2 minutes and realized she's married to the Lord! Her joy is obvious and bright!!!

I have always shopped at this Salvation Army Store & before they moved I shopped with them several blocks South on SE Powell Blvd. Always kind and usually helpful, The last couple of years they have been under staffed and always in a rush. I've attended the Wednesday 1/2 price sales which I and I know a lot of people appreciate. Here is my truthful feelings after observing & shopping the sale for approximately 12 months. I would really enjoy having the half price only once a month, the every week leaves the store shelves along with most displays empty or very sparsely displayed. I understand when pricing increased, that is expected. To be honest I donate there if I can get there before 5 any afternoon, I've been turned away and told to come back the next day to donate. I love Salvation Army, I love their mission statement and their tenderness towards people in need.. I think they just need a good customer service coarse & the powers that be might need to rethink special sale options.

Hours for Gresham are Monday - Thursday 9am-12pm, 1pm-3pm Closed every Friday Closed every 1st Wednesday of the month due to Harvest Share. Harvest Share is fresh fruits n vegetables for the community. Hours for Harvest Share are Only 1st Wednesday of the month from 9am-10am.
Monday - Thursday 9am - 12, 1 - 3 Must bring current mail with current address on it.

The Gresham Salvation Army gives out a clothes voucher ONE a day. You need to get there when they open at 9am to get one for that day. The voucher is $20 to get clothes from the Salvation Army store on 242nd/Hogan.

No the food pantry is only open Mon thru Thursday from 9 to 12, 1 to 3. The Salvation army is open Sunday morning for church. There is Sunday school at 9:30, and church at 10:30.
