Boat ramp was closed for a triathlon.

Construction ongoing. Rude 🚧 👷♂️ workers upon arrival. No security seemingly available after 5pm. No # to call after hours for neighbors not respecting the quiet hours. Put up with multiple nights of jackass next to us playing loud music past 1 a.m. No one seems to come around to check on things. The proximity to FW and Big D are the only positives. Also saw a bunch of these while there.

Reservation hell for outdoor Open spaces. You know there is something wrong when 9 of 10 cars are turning back around because they can't get in. There is more traffic going out than going in. To make things worse all the other parks are closed.

This park is $7.00 for each person aged 13 and up. Under 13 is free.
The boat ramp at the south end oof the park is open. The one at the north is closed due to construction. The park doesn't sell bait.
No. Not at the park itself. There are Game Warden offices in Garland and, I think, east Ft. Worth ( Haltom City or Hurst?) that handle this.
The "Marina side" is not part of the State Park. The marina side of Joe Pool Lake is on the west side of the lake with a park run by the City of Grand Prairie which charges by vehicle. The State Park is on the east side of the lake and charges $7.00 each person for people 13 and up. Under 13 is free.
No you got to get that at the tag office
The designated swim area is closed because of flooding right now but you can go swimming anywhere really.
You can fish it is open on Sundays
