Sharon was absolutely wonderful! She helped me get my certification done quickly! She also responded to my emails so quickly and generously knowing she has a lot of other people to take care of! Best service I’ve received from the pharmacy board!

Took my PTCE exam, called and asked a few questions after I found out I passed. The lady seemed to be helpful but when I asked if I can submit paperwork in person she said their office is still closed. I don’t understand?! I’m Being sarcastic, if other places are open to the public why are these government offices closed? You guys are not only hurting people like myself or Pharmacists, but your hurting yourselves too! We rely on important documentation (our license) so that we can work in the field stat. Office is open now but you are very limited to what you can do in person. If you are requesting to become a certified Pharmacy Tech, the paperwork is available online and you must submit an electronic payment of 82.00. If you do everything via Mail, you still submit the same 82.00 and all the paperwork they require that is on the website along with the completion of the application. Once you acquire your License, the opportunities are there. Mail order, working from home, retail pharmacies…. (I highly recommend you get a Postal money order) in 2022, it’s going to take you a few months to have your application processed for your certification or trainee license, so be prepared to wait for everything to go through. Everything in life has a process…..

I submitted my application 35 days ago and until now I haven't heard anything yet. When I call to inquire about status of my application, I get directed to Alyssha Vargas who never answers. I also never got a response to the many emails I sent. This is tragic... I keep telling my employer, my application is pending when their pharmacy desperately needs help... This delay is impacting the community, patients and myself. This processing time is totally unacceptable and unprofessional and has to change

Moved here trying to get my license transferred from CA, sent it in on 01/19/21 and still waiting. I thought California was slow....

No
To prepare for the test you can get the practice test from PTCB online
Pay $129 upfront and schedule the exam.
No. A trainee license is now good for 3 years and is NOT renewable ever, if the licences does not become certified
Means your application went through and are now legally allowed to work in the pharmacy
Go to the state Board of pharmacy website and scroll down to near the bottom. It costs 10 dollars for a duplicate of your license I believe.

My local UPS store also did them. I searched Arizona Livescan Fingerprinting on Google and called the store to confirm in advance.
CALL THEM ASAP
Either go to school in (01/2020) it will be REQUIRED to have schooling and a diploma/certificate. Pay $129 exam fee "upfront" (and hope you can pass,) then once its paid you sign up for the exam. If you fail certification test it has to be retaken and another $129. That fee is paid every time you have to retake it. Also your license is only good for two years and will have to be renewed at your expense.
