Very friendly

People are very friendly but when I walked in I was over run with the Smell of Cat urine. I know that a place like a shelter is going to have some smell but I have been in there to this one several times and it never smelled like that. The little counter at the window was filthy too. I'm sure they take good care of the animals though !

Was told that the adoption fee would pay for some or most of the spay of my cat, which was wrong it didn’t pay anything so what exactly is the $60 used for?!
Alicia Mckee
They are super friendly. Answered any question we had on any dog and cat we looked at. Glad to have 2 new additions to our home.

U have to be 16 with panrents ,and older then that u don't have to have parents permission.
I'm about 99% sure that you are able to just walk in and see them at any time they're open. ☺️
Have you lost one?
Roy do you still have the kittens? Are they long hair white and any females
I really dont know, you might give them a call..
No I have not seen him, but I hope you find him
Volunteers are always needed, call the shelter to find out, but you're probably going to be able to get enough hours.
I believe they do.
It's on their fb page
Never Mind dog catching officer has arrived.
Call the non emergency police department # 903-784-6688. Listen to the various prompts and the animal shelter will be an option, I'm thinking it is # 6 because they will ask for your party's extension if you know it, at the beginning of the call. I had to call several times once I figured out to call the Paris PD because the # listed definitely needs to be updated!! Hope this helps!
Yes Facebook page et you can call et see if they have some not showing on their page
Animal Protection League brings their mobile unit to the Paris Atwood's. 903-440-4912 www.aplspayneuter.org
What are you asking?
This shelter tries very hard to get as many animals placed with rescue groups and/or adopted. However, they do euthanize dogs when they are over capacity and not able to find a place for them.
Yes
At least biannually they sell coupons to get your dog fixed. There's also the animal protection league that offers a cheap snip clinic, look them up
Typically they will post pics on fb on the Paris, TX Shelter Adoptables page
This is a kill shelter. Of course they try not to, but if the animal is contagiously sick or they run out of room, some do have to be put down.
Yes
You have to be there at 7 am to help in Sunday.
Shot clinic is February 24 at shelter
Call the shelter and find out
