I tried to adopt this cute kitten a couple weeks back. We signed papers and everything for this cute little kitten. They told us they would call us back for the kitten but they haven’t and ignored us for a whole day. We then called them and they told us one of the workers there would call us back but never did. Worst place ever!

Very fun to volunteer here. The dogs are always super exited to go on walks or just get petted! Overall a great experience, would highly recommend!

If you are trying to adopt from the pet orphanage, i will tell you my personal experience. I saw a little dog on their website and filled out an application. called and left voicemails over the next several days, never got a call back. i started seeing other dogs on the website get adopted out, so i decide to go up to the orphanage in person. i talked with Mandy, who seems to be the gatekeeper of the animals. she decides who the animals go home with. I went up on a saturday, briefly talked with mandy, left her my contact info and she assured me she would get back with me on the following wednesday. i never heard back wednesday, so i go up there thursday and she says she called my vet to get my other dogs medical records, but they were closed. Mandy said all she needs is my other dogs medical charts. i email that information to her that evening. During all this, I am being lead to believe from mandy, that as long as i get her this information, then I can adopt the dog. i get a call the next day and I am told there were 4 other people she was considering for this dog and she went ahead and gave the dog away to someone else. Not once was I told there was anyone else being considered to adopt the dog, especially 4 other people. If Mandy was upfront with me from the beginning and said, oh by the way, there are 4 other people i'm considering for this dog and you're one of them and i'll call you and let you know who i decide on, i would have been fine with that. There was no transparency from Mandy and i didn't appreciate that. I found the whole experience very unprofessional with Mandy. I didn't appreciate how long the adoption process took, the lack of transparency, and the lack of communication from Mandy. I personally won't adopt from here nor recommend it to my friends and family. This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had.

No, they have a lengthy application process to make sure the animal is a good fit. Per their website, applications are responded to between 72 hours and a week.
I would always recommend two. They will entertain each other. ELPO does have kittens from the same litter available.
I have 2 cats of a year in my DEPARTMENT if you want you can come for them because I can no longer have them 😖 since I will move from department
They have two buildings one for cats and one for dogs I'm sure if you call the cat clinic they can help you with the stray car :)
You could. But be ready they can be sticklers
You would have to contact the directly
See if they can help. Maybe they can find the owner.
I would double check the website for current updates, but when I was there they had all types of animals including cats.
I took 3 kittens I had to cut out of my neighbors wall as they had been born in the attic and fell through the wall. I am a client there and they took them but I had to pay some of the bill to offset the bill. But they did care for them and they were adopted when they got old enough.
No
Available pets are posted on their website and Instagram. Best way to see what they have available is to go in and meet the pups in person.
The non-refundable adoption donation for felines is $165.00.
Many of them any size
Don't know, would have to ask, but the ladies who run it are very... um... I don't what your other options are but I'd take a second look at those first.
Not necessarily, just keep calling till they give you solid answer.
You can go on their website and look. Its usually very up to date.
If they have space they will likely take her
You need to contact them directly and ask, but they may need to be fostered. I know they have an application process to release animals to the orphanage.
Maybe someone could bring her in to ELPO. They are very helpful.
You can take her there as a stray. They will take care of her if no owner is found. Then get her ready for a foster home or adoption. I got my dog there and she was a stray.
You can volunteer and walk the dogs.
Yes they have puppies
Yes they do
