Talking stick arena is in down town phoenix. Talking stick casino that has some of the concerts is on the 101 north of the 202. You need to be sure of which facility the concert you are attending is at as these both are quite a distance apart. Hate to end up at the wrong place and miss the show.

I would recommend using light rail. It's free to use 4 hours before and after the event. Go to valleymetro's website to find the most convenient park and ride (that's free too) ride the rail to and from. You can also use the website to plan your trip so you know when the next ride is coming

I found a parking lot 3 blocks away on 5th street. I took Lyft from there. Parking was $12 flat and i used my placard. Easy enough spots to find. The elevator went right out to the street, and Lyft picked me up and dropped me off right in front of the arena.

There are several two hour limit parking meters around the arena that are usually open. If you can't find one then you'll have to find on street parking or use one of the garages. It's actually pretty easy to find parking during the day and especially on a weekday.

The Talking Stick Resort, not the arena, was affected by the monsoon and the casino and hotel are closed. Those are up in North Scottsdale and the arena is in downtown Phoenix. We went to a concert there last night and everything was fine.

Suns vs Brooklyn we had awesome seeds in the 100 level down low. There are also really good seats in the next level up. Not quite as good as 100 level but still fairly decent for the price right now.
