Where is the parking and is it adequate for events?

If you want you can take the light rail in to downtown there is stops close by

I park right across the street it's $50.

There is a small side lot right next to the center. There are several parking structures in the area that will charge per hour. There are also large parking lots for the events in the 4 or 5 blocks surrounding the center. Also make shift vendors sell there own parking spaces for there apartments or businesses. Parking is pretty hairy and almost anywhere you go is going to mean a lot of traffic to be stuck in afterwards. From my observations almost everywhere has very little security.

If you have tickets for the Footprint Arena the light rail is free. You just show your tickets, also all lots for the light rail are free.

There are parking structures each direction you go by the footprint center.

Price usually depends on the event. There are quite a few lots where I see $10 at Mercury and Rattler's games.

Much easier to park away and take the light rail in. and waaayyyyyyy cheaper!

There are many places to park. We usually go to the south end of footprint in the fenced area. It's easy to get out.
