Initially Cox Cable had provides us the wrong equipment for our setup. After exchanging it for the right equipment, I was unable to figure out how to set it up to wok properly. Steve , the technician, arrived on time as scheduled and was able to quickly solve my problem. He was very professional, competent, courteous and charged me what I considered to be a very fair price for a service call. Overall it was a very pleasant experience which is rare when it comes to dealing with technical telecommunication issues.

That's entirely up to the end user. There are pros and cons for each.
Outdoor cameras can be used inside however indoor cameras should not be used outside. Of course, it depends on the product you're using and the manufacture's recommendation.
