By far, best whale watching experience I've ever had! Mike, our tour guide and marine expert, was amazing! He, and the entire crew, kept the trip fun, safe, and informative. 🦭🦪🦀🦞🦐🦤They made superb interactions and effort put into this tour. I know that they even went out farther than anticipated, and took more time than was planned to ensure that we saw whales. And whales we saw!!! 🐳🐳 A bit pricey, but totally worth it. The only negative aspect was the rude and dismissive man at the ticket booth- his sour attitude and lack of customer service was noticed. Tips: wear Seabands, bring a reliable recording device, sunscreen, (even if it's cloudy), binoculars, and go early! Also, take the advice on their website about purchasing a parking garage pass online, as it is so much easier and hassle-free.) We will be back!!!!

Such an amazing experience and well worth the trip! Beautiful views of the city and the golden gate bridge on the way out. We saw a humpback whale and several gray whales. It was a spectacular experience, don't hesitate to book! Michael from the crew was incredibly knowledgeable and provided an excellent trip. Thank you!

We had a beautiful on the bay. The staff was very enthusiastic and educational. We were fortunate enough to see grey whales. The boat was a nice size with warming cabin if you get cold. They also had some drinks and snacks for sale along with apparel. It was a very nice experience. We would do it again during humpback season.

No whales on our tour but it was a gorgeous day. Loved being in parts I've never been in, seen things I've never seen. It was a great day!

There are yours that go out into the ocean around farallon islands. I think Monterey is better known for it. Check the reviews on line for SFO whale tour operators
It's a waste of money as only very less of whale is seen.. Either just the fin or the mouth for a few seconds.
Didn't see any last week. But heard humpback whales are around between May to December. Good luck hope you'll be able to see them.
Sorry don't know Please contact them.
Starts at the end of may, and i would say ends up around november. But so far i haven't seen them yet.
November is the beginning of our slow season as most of the whales have gone to warmer tropical waters for breeding and giving birth. We do have a Grey Whale tour available on the 18th in your window of availability. You can book tickets for this tour by following the link below. www.sanfranciscowhaletours.com
We did the golden gate bridge one in the evening. It was beautiful and we saw many whales. One breached on one side of our boat and swam under it and breached right on the other side. It was amazing! Plus we got to enjoy the evening sky.
The price depends on which tour you do. The time also depends on which tour you do. Our tour took us under the golden gate bridge towards sunset. It was beautiful! We had a whale swim under our boat and then pop up on the other side. It was amazing! We saw lots of whales and other sea life. It was worth the price! Our tour was about 2 hrs and the price was around 40$ if i remember correctly.
Yes, go for it. They can tell you when you have higher chances to see the whales.
I don't know the size of the boat but when I went on it we had about 30 people.
