a review from @amom2kidsandapark Just took the ferry to the city from the east bay? Want to explore a little? Across The Embarcadero is Sue Beirman Park full of grassy lawns, a huge water fountain, and a playground. The playground is gated and has two structures, a giant climbing dome (with lope ladders and more), swings (bucket and standard), teeter totter, and spinning cup. The smaller structure is shaped like a boat! There is a slide, steps, rope ladder, hammock underneath, a look out deck up top with wheel and binoculars, and benches inside. The larger structure has a long slide and a bottomless sideless slide, steps, rock climbing, and monkey bars. Across the grass is the GIANT water fountain that you can walk under and take steps up to the top. (Definitely don’t go in the water thought 🥴) While there aren’t bathrooms close to the playground, it’s right across from the ferry building which has bathrooms as well as food and coffee options. The kids have never been to the city and it was really neat for them to see the buildings so close that we see so far away when we are exploring east bay shores.

My wife and I stumbled upon this little paradise while strolling through San Francisco. We heard the birds from two blocks away and decided to investigate. What an amazing little place. Wild Parrots in the middle of the city! Don’t miss out!

Very nice park with a gated playground and open field. My kids had fun here. It's really breathtaking. For a moment it didn't even feel like we were in San Francisco. Highly recommend it here.

Beautiful park. Not big though. There's a small playground for kids.

There are restrooms on the 2nd floor of each of the embarcadero center buildings, there's 1 at either end of the ferry building, and lastly... The public toilets a.k.a "space toilets" if you happen to be extremely daring or in desperate need! A word of warning though!! If you're sending a child in there, I'd honestly just carry them in and hold them above the thing while they do their business. Take wipes/antiseptic stuff because frequently the sinks in these are out of order. Oh yeah... sometimes the locks on the doors actually work too! Hope this helps! ✌️
