Beautiful place. So close to lively Ferry building area, but also so quiet and surrounded by water. Great views of the Bay Bridge, nearby islands and the city. There are metal chairs that you can sit on.

Awesome at sunset! Get there before, during, and after "magic hour" for beautiful views and pictures! Wonderful views of bay, Ferry building, and bridge which is especially nice all light up. Nice walk along the waterfront also.

There is a information pole right before you go onto the pier. It has information on the type of fish you can catch along with the history of the pier.
