I would say get there early and park around 2nd st and a block or 2 north if grant. Saves u parking 💰

I like the garage on 5th St between Washington and Jefferson. It's $10-$12 depending on the event. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the arena, and after the event you can drive onto Jefferson towards the highway without dealing with traffic.
