I've never had a problem with size. But everyone is going to the clear plastic restrictions. I just bring a small plastic purse so I'm not surprised. Hideous restrictions.
I've never been searched but i don't think the size is too important.
I don't think so but they will search you. I believe they do not allow backpacks, but they may have changed that policy.
