We've been going to the play grounds for years. The trails are awesome but long, we've gotten lost on them, take some water with you!

Great place to walk

Huge park with lots of shady trails and parking. Lots of deer roaming around and they are not too skittish. In the spring the bluebonnets are gorgeous here.

An awesome park to chill out

Yes! And very large! Great for any activity. Also has 3 entrances.. But all free
Some shorter areas, but the long section I use (6 miles) has dirt paths and a boardwalk mixed with paved areas.
I have seen them there but I believe you should contact city park to notify.
Yes, you can find a really nice spot a very short walk down the Greenway from the dog park.
Dog park is fenced off, plenty of room to run around. Never had any issues of pups jumping the fence. Some owners do off leash their dogs deeper Into the trails on low traffic days, but they are generally responsible about it.
I have never seen a concession stand or even vending machines so be sure to pack your own water magic question is Rosa Parks completely against solicitation within the parks by even license vendors I think that's a possibility maybe but then again I sure wouldn't complain if I was jogging and thirsty and wanted to buy a drink if somebody wanted to play some music I would love to hear some those are things I enjoy about people make a delicious drink play a beautiful song gross and wonderful food smile beautiful smile and love each other run around or run around point fingers at each other saying no you can't do that
Yes, spread across the park. Around the pavilions and at each park-in spot.
Go hug a tree
In droud I see people put out water 4 them all the time.
Yes and sports fields.
Yes
Yes, but it's the wrong time of year now. Spring is your best bet.
Soccer fields are available
No it's a public park...as Gabriela commented...fees apply when you want to rent a pavilion from the city.
Umm I didn't see spaces for that purpose but we would have to ask.
The Greenway Trail starts at the trail head, goes past the dog park parking lot, and then goes under Wurzbach Pkwy. You can then head West or South on the greenway.
Yes, the pavilions can be rented. Not sure if they're nice enough for a wedding, but you can check 'em out and decide for yourself. Pavilion 2 would probably work best, #3 would be my next choice.
Most assuredly friendly to kids of all ages 👍😎
Hi Ms Copeland 😃 According to the City Parks website...you just missed the 2019 Fest of Tails and Kite event at McAllister Park which was held on March 16. 😳 Luckily though, Fiesta is just around the corner with lots of fun things to do. Happy Springtime!!! 🌸🌹🌺🌷
Yes sir, so does Lady Bird Johnson Park off of nacogdoches and Wurzbach parkway
I don't really know if they do but I think that they do because they have a lot of things their
None that I saw.
Lights are only in parking areas and maybe some pavilions. Defintely none on the paved trails
I think you do but Yes, best to call Park and Recreation or they might have a web site
One off of wurzbach pkwy one off of jones maltsburger those are the only 2 I know about
Nope, San Pedro Springs has a public swimming pool. Actually leaving right now with the family to go swim there.
Yes they have plenty where local children leagues hold tournaments!
Yes and ive done 16 miles covering multiple trails
Yes they have lights, but you would have to contact the parks and rec dept to find out how to reserve
No camping except on Easter weekend and then only with tents.
If caught on a trail or in the city park after it has officially closed you can receive fines up to $500. I doubt that this is for a first offense.
No it was held in South Williamsport
Yes, plenty of trails with different skill levels. You will have a great time at McAllister
There used to be camp sites, but they are gone now. All grown over.
Yes, there are sidewalks and gravel trails. Pull up the McAllister Park Blue Loop Trail
