A spectacular view from the top of the city of San Antonio. I recommend going there in the evening and buying the ticket for the tower together with that of the river visit, aboard the boat, which will take you on another nice tour of the city center. I recommend the evening tour for both tours. A spectacular view from the top of the city of San Antonio. They have an inside area where the tower is located
The nearest parking to Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair (including the Splash Pad and playground) is in the Hemisfair Garage at 623 E. Nueva. The first 30 minutes of parking are free in the garage. Additionally, there is a paid lot at 420 S. Alamo.
At midnight or 11:57pm
No they don't have fireworks displays often. Only on Independence Day and New Years Eve.
The Tower of the Americas is just one aspect of Hemisfair park, which is in the process of being redeveloped. One section, Yanaguana Garden, is an all ages, and all abilities, playground. It has large round swings that people with disabilities can lay on and swing, which is good for the inner ear’s equilibrium faculties. There is also a ground level splash pad that is wheelchair accessible, that disabled visitors can enjoy if they can transfer onto the ground, (or don’t mind their wheelchair getting wet). There are outdoor private “changing rooms,” (square, wooden shelters), and visitors can transfer into one of the many colorful Adirondack chairs while their wheelchair dries in the sun on a warm, bright day. There is a large scale sandbox as well. Any can enjoy giant concrete checkers and chess boards with huge playing pieces, or regular size painted boards on concrete tables that usually have colorful playing pieces. Yanaguana Gardens is not grass, is shady & free. Food nearby
Yes very free... You should ride the bus so you dont have to pay for parkin.... But your best bet is to come tomorrow... Dont bring to much because you need a clear bag... You can get that from any hotel supportin the final four basketball tournament....
The restaurant is priced like a nicer restaurant but the vibe is casual (no dress code enforced, mostly tourist). I think the menu is online if you want specifics
As of 3/4/22, the Union Pacific Railroad Splash Pad has reopened for the season! It is open seven days per week, 9am-9pm. In general, the Splash Pad operates from March-November every year.
As of 3/26/21, the Splash Pad at Hemisfair has reopened :) Welcome back!
I do all the time my bike goes everywhere with me
There are outlets available by the restrooms located in Yanaquana Park.
On Alamo street, between La Villita and The Fairmont hotel, there is a parking lot that charges $10.00 for parking. The park will be across the street.
The Splash Pad operates from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. 7 days per week. Occasional maintenance adjusts operational times depending on need.
To go up to the "Tower of the Americas" is $12.00 for adults. I don't know how much for kids. They also have a restaurant up there.
Right off 281 37 so access road just before caesar chavez
much. twelve dollars per person, to get on the observatory. but sometimes they don't check if you have a bracelet. and the cost includes the mini 4D cinema that you have there.
I believe your able to bring a small one of your own in certain areas ,but you should verify this with city of san Antonio parks&recreation Dept.
Playground is free! But you will have to pay for parking
The hemisfair is over love sorry you missed the event...
I think it was 15 a per adult and 11 for kids we spent 96.00 total for 7 people.
