I found a set of stray kittens with no identification that I could not keep and it was very easy to surrender them. The facility seemed nice, and they were quick. I hope someone will give them a loving home! They were very sweet, friendly and had no health issues as far as I could tell, likely just abandoned 🥺.

Staff was great especially for being a little understaffed. We adopted a pair of wonderful dogs 🐕 were only looking for 1 but we couldn't separate these 2 cuties.

They make the adoption process so easy. The staff is very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place to whomever is looking to adopt an animal. I adopted Mocca on 1/23/22 & she is the best and sweetest dog EVER!!

I adopted an adorable kitten with some health issues. They were very communicative about her needs and her health status, for which I was very grateful, but when the time came that our kitten had to undergo a $2000 surgery, RASKC was generous enough to cover the cost with their Angel Fund. We are so beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to provide a loving home for our sweet baby, and can’t thank RASKC enough for all they’ve done!

I just adopted a dog from this shelter. The adoption fees run from 100-250. $250 is the maximum adoption fee. Comes with microchip/rabies vaccine/spayed or neutered, and a free vet visit. :)
Call in an anonymous complaint.
I volunteer at the shelter, and we are very low on adoptable cats. They will happily take in your kitten, and we will put it up for adoption!
Unless they are sick or injured it's not likely they will be put down (or if they are aggressive). The shelter is a good place and better than letting them go with a stranger you know nothing about.
No charge for King county residents to surrender a cat
I don't know. Does anyone else know?
Please contact Regional Animal Service of King County. Don't just give her away to someone you don't know. I'm sure you love your pit bull. Please contact them 🙏
I suggest call or take a.s.a.p. to stop the cycle. Best of luck.
It would best to. And ask to see if they take farm animals.
Go here, also you can call and email: https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/regional-animal-services/lost-and-found/LOST/found-animals-search.aspx
Yes you can take your cat here.
We have.. They have even been outside while they bark approach our fence and get my dogs riled up and they obviously tune it out. We talk to one and get well I talk to my other spouse. During the day I donr say much but at 5 am and late at night is not okay when its non stop barking at nothing. The dog literally just sits there and barks
Yes they do accept those pets (well not sure about the fish as I haven't seen any yet) but you must live in the city of Kent.
Kids can volunteer. But they do need to be accompanied by an adult. Due to age restrictions there are somethings they can not do.
They will, if you surrender your cat to the Shelter. If she does NOT need to be put down though, they won't!!
Thank yoy
Call animal control to request a welfare check. The puppy should have a good shelter and food and water, and the animal control officer will know what to look for.
They have two I believe and they're both on their website
They do not offer vet services to the public. However, you can surrender your pets at no charge.
I know the place offers bunnies for adoption. I suggest you call and find out if there other requirements you need to fulfill before giving up your bunny.
Since you're visually impaired I would suggest calling RASK and let them know what you're looking for so they can get your information and call you when something comes in.
I would recommend Dooney Poe (sp?) Clinic. It's twice a month, but free services for those with very low income.
You pay for it at your vet the shelter will not take the remains of your dog
They do not loam traps. They do have a lost pet area on there website. Plus a book at they shelter were you can put your lost cat.
Please contact them by phone to ask. I don't work there,I went to get dog food.
I agree with Tiv, they are particular about allowing anyone to just go back there just to play with the dogs (and cats for that matter). In fact the first time you get to go back there is after the agency clears your history of prior handling of the animals and the type of home you could offer the animal, safe, not on main street, ample yard for the dog to run around, how much time you're going to give the animal, etc...
Yes
yes they are. their website has more info on it as well.
You need to call them to see if there's cancelation where they can move you forward. Adoption fee is range from $ 30 - $ 100 depending the old of the cats. Have you reserved those cats online? They might be gone if you didn't out a hold on them. Goodluck!
You can also inquire via email
I am not sure but I know they have guide a few coming in each week so I am sure that not all put on the website right away.
This is an animal shelter, we adopted our kitten here. They treat the animals in their care, but not a public veterinarian.
I suggest contacting the shelter and asking. Good luck.
Yes, you should call ahead
Yes. A fantastic volunteer foster community for many years. Check out the RASKC website for info.
Yes they are both Animal control and a no kill shelter they have limited hours but taking in animals may be easier. They are nice there so a call or visit will do it. Good luck. Were it a young German Shepherd you could bring it to me and be paid too!
My son loves all living things but unfortunately my allergies are so severe he cannot get a dog or cat. I would have to wear a mask or something to help and get heavily medicated but he wants to help so I will do anything I can. Thank you for you help
Up to$100.
Yes, they have a very active Foster
The best I have found is on the American Disability Act and looking at The State laws. Also, there are a "FEW" great sights on Facebook to get good information. Dont let someone bedazzle you into myths and not promote current information on Service Dogs. If you want to message me than I'm open for that. I wish blessings on your journey.
if you adopted a kitty from kent shelter you will a certificate for a free kitty check up. I got for both my kitty's.
I know that I always bring my checkbook and/or cash.. Not really sure about credit cards.
Yes that is correct. They take both
Do you still have the kittens?
They are having a deal for this weekend to help all the cats get homes.
The dogs they have are constantly being adopted and so they change every week. You'll have to either call or visit in to know for sure, but they do occasionally have French bulldogs
I would give them a call. They are open 7 days a week.
Yes, you can surrender them at Regional Animal Services of King County in Kent.
You would want to call to arrange for the animals to be surrendered.
Give animal control a call they should come out to remove the bird.
Sorry for your loss.I don't think so. But give it a try. Lets us know.
https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/regional-animal-services/adopt-a-pet/pet-adoption-program.aspx according to website adoption fee for puppies and dogs is $100 to $250 and includes a bunch of stuff 😁
Pretty sure that is probably a no unless maybe a medical issue. Definitely call to ask.
Hi is the puppy for adoption and do I have to pay any
They have a mobile spay/neuter clinic which travels to different sites and is lower cost. This link will tell you more about it! https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/regional-animal-services/special-programs/spay-neuter.aspx
You may also try to see if you can get animal control involved. It would be a great 1st step. They have a ton of knowledge & should be able to tell you how you should proceed.
There is a wild animal vet in Lake Sawyer... I brought them several baby bunnies a few years ago
Anytime during business hours
https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/regional-animal-services/adopt-a-pet/pet-adoption-program.aspx has all prices listed also sometimes they have specials so maybe call or walk in and check.
It's fairly easy. Just need to pick out your cat/kitten and fill out the application. Adoption fees vary depending on the animal but it's inexpensive. It will have its shots, be spayed or neutered, and have a microchip. You'll get a voucher for a free checkup at a vet and 30 days of free pet insurance thru Trupanion which you can extend before the 30 day point. Register your info with the microchip company when you get home and you're pretty much set. I may have forgotten a few details but that's what I remember from getting my cat last June.
They do not, but they do give you a voucher for a free health exam at participating vets!
Cats 6 months and younger are $100 and cats 6 months and older are usually $75 but the fee is currently waived and only the pet license $30 fee applies.
Contact them and an animal control officer will come out and trap the cat.
No, they won't.
They do normally put pics up. When my girl went missing she never appeared on the site. The best thing is to go there right away.
You can call the shelter and ask about the ducks.
Kittens under six.months are $100. Older than six months and the fee is only $30.for the license.
Any animal that is running loose in an area of unincorporated King County can be picked up by Animal Control officers and taken to the Shelter.
There is No cost to surrender your pet. You must be a King county resident.
This is a shelter. They don't have a spay or neuter clinic.
No fee as far as I know. Just fill out the questionnaire and as stated be honest about your pet and the reason or reasons why. I've seen some of the toughest animals adopted out.
Please go to there website and fill out a volunteer form.
On the website there is a form to complete for owner surrender. It helps people know about the dog. And gets the adopted. And you can watch the website to see how longer it takes for the adoption.
Yes
Depends. It's always random on what they have at their shelter
He should be fine if you take him in to the regional animal. They have a great area for cats. Believe me they spoil them. Someone will come along and adopt him. Just make sure to disclose any issues you have with him so that the person taking him home knows what to expect so he's not returned. I've seen older cats with cancer or at the end of their time get adopted out.
It does not matter. But anyone under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them. Anyone under the age of 18 can not work with animals.
Go there first and if she's been adopted out ask them what date it happened on. Have a picture of her and put it up on the different sights for missing pets and Craigslist letting people know what happened. Someone may take mercy and return her to you. Good luck finding you little girl.
Kents animal shelter can take them and will take good care of them and find a wonderful home for them
The shelter will be happy to help yourbdogs find new homes and will even tey to keep them together if they can. They do everything possible to NOT put animals to sleep and will foster them if necessary instead of doing so. The holidays are a good time as many families are looking to take in a shelter dog or cat and give them a good new home. Whatever you do don't let them run loose or gonto someone who doesn't really want them. There are good homes out there waiting.
Also, network on every missing pet site on FB. There are many in the King County area and statewide.
